QR wristband
The band goes on at check-in and goes home with the customer. After the jump, scanning it opens their video. Buy them from us or print your own.
FREE ADVERTISINGClipHangar learns each camera flyer’s habits from five jumps they mark by hand. After that, every jump they film is edited with zero clicks and sent to the customer: tandems, AFF, coached jumps and fun jumpers. It costs less than any other dropzone video system and runs on the Windows laptop you already have.
Fully customisable
Example customer page. Each dropzone chooses what goes on it, using ready-made templates.
Every camera flyer films differently. ClipHangar keeps a profile for each one. They mark their first five jumps by hand, and it learns their habits from those marks. From then on it finds the cuts and builds the edit by itself, and it keeps learning from every jump.
Card in, edit out, customer sent their video.
Some start on the ground, some at the door. It learns where the useful footage begins.
Exit timing is matched to that camera flyer, backed up by the camera’s own motion data on GoPro.
How long they hold each shot and where the freefall really ends for them.
Where the opening happens and which landing and interview clips belong to the jump.
Built in the door, not in an office.
ClipHangar is made by a camera flyer with twenty years of jumps. It is used on paying customers at a working dropzone, so every feature has had to survive a full day of loads.
From check-in to the customer’s phone, without anyone renaming files, scrubbing footage or copying links by hand.
Customer details go in the way that suits you: a wristband, a camera flyer’s phone or a dropzone iPad. It works with no signal.
The camera flyer films the customer’s QR code before the jump. That’s how every clip finds its customer.
Clips are sorted into jumps, back-to-back loads included. On GoPro, the exit is found from the camera’s own motion data.
The edit builds itself in 1080p using that camera flyer’s habits. Press a key or move the mouse on any screen to take over and check it.
A text and an email link to their own page: preview, pay online, and download, iPhone included.
Every method makes the same QR code, so the camera flyer films it the same way and the software treats it the same way. Mix them on the same day if you like.
The band goes on at check-in and goes home with the customer. After the jump, scanning it opens their video. Buy them from us or print your own.
FREE ADVERTISINGEach camera flyer opens the QR page on their own phone, types in their customer and films the code on screen. No kit to hand around.
One shared tablet at manifest or the loading area covers the whole team. Any tablet with a browser will do.
The same page runs on the desk computer or a laptop at manifest. Nothing to install on it.
We supply wristbands printed with your dropzone’s QR codes, in different qualities. The better the wristband, the more likely a customer is to keep wearing it long after their jump, and the more people see your name.
We’ll tell you which wristband printer to buy and which wristband suppliers to use. ClipHangar’s free app then prints the QR code wristbands for you.
FREE PRINTING APPCustomers go home wearing it. When they show their friends, they scan the band and the video plays right there, on a page with your dropzone’s name on it. That’s free advertising every time someone shows off their jump.
Filmed, edited and sent their video.
Your brand on their wrist at work, at the pub, at home.
The video plays on the spot on your page.
Straight from the QR code on the band.
The person who showed them gets a reward, so they keep sharing.
↻ And the new customer gets a wristband too.
When a friend books through someone’s wristband, reward the original jumper with money off their next jump or AFF course, and give the friend something too. It only costs you when a new paying customer walks in.
Everyone who watches a video, customer or friend, is one tap from booking.
Watching their own video is the best moment to suggest learning to skydive solo.
Friends who watched can buy a jump for someone else.
Ask for a review while they’re watching their jump, not a week later.
Canvas prints, framed photos, fridge magnets, mugs, T‑shirts, hoodies, phone cases, keyrings and calendars, all made from their own jump photos. AI can even remove the instructor from the shot, so it looks like they flew solo.
Everything below comes as standard. No extra modules, no hardware bundle.
Tandems, AFF levels, coached jumps and fun jumpers who want their footage. If a camera filmed it, ClipHangar can edit and deliver it.
ClipHangar is Windows software. No Mac, no iPad, no TV box. Our own setup runs on a £130 laptop.
A whole day of jumps on one card is split into separate jumps and matched to the right customers, with no limit on how many.
If the camera flyer shoots photos on a camera, those photos are delivered with the video. If no camera is connected, ClipHangar takes the photos from the video footage instead.
GoPro, Sony, Canon, Olympus and all the other big brands. It doesn’t matter whether the camera plugs in as a normal drive or as a camera device (MTP). Everything goes through the same workflow.
Customers see your dropzone’s name and colours on their page, texts and emails. The customer page is fully customisable: pick a template and choose what goes on it, from offers and courses to merch and referral rewards.
Customers pay online with Stripe. Payments are picked up and the video is released even if the laptop is switched off.
For every customer you can see whether they never opened the link, opened it, or saved the video.
Each jump is recorded against the camera flyer who filmed it, so reception knows who to ask and you can see who filmed what.
From any browser, reception can see every package that’s been sent, amend things if something needs changing, resend a link, or message the camera flyer who filmed it, all behind a passcode.
If there’s a problem the office can’t fix, ClipHangar emails and texts the camera flyer who filmed that jump straight away, so the customer isn’t left waiting.
Spoken updates as cards transfer and jumps finish, so nobody has to stand watching a progress bar.
Wrong customer or wrong clips? Stop the job at any point until the upload is complete and put it right.
Check-in and QR codes work offline, and uploads pick up where they left off after a restart.
Keeping a video package on the server costs about 1p per GB per month (UK prices), and customer downloads are free. Old videos are cleared automatically, so no hard drives fill up.
ClipHangar costs a fraction of what other dropzone video systems charge per video, and does more. You pay for videos that reach customers, not for seats or hardware. Get in touch and we’ll price it for your dropzone.
Put a few jumps a day through ClipHangar while your current setup carries on as normal. Nothing to switch off, nothing to buy up front.
How many jumps you film and how you do video now. We’ll get back to you by email or phone.
